General Rules
General Conditions
- Each individual registering to participate must be 18 years of age or older.
- Each individual may only use 1 account/1 character to participate in the tournament. If any individual is found using 2 or more accounts or 2 or more characters, the player must choose 1 character to withdraw to ensure each player participates with only 1 character.
- All participants must comply with the tournament regulations. The Organizing Committee (OC) will not resolve disputes if individuals violate tournament rules.
Disclaimer of Liability
- During the tournament, if a major incident beyond the OC's control occurs, the OC reserves the right to unilaterally suspend the tournament without any liability. The OC will make decisions based on actual circumstances and announce them publicly on the Ghost Story: Love Destiny homepage.
- Before the official rounds begin, the OC may adjust certain content to ensure fairness and quality. Changes will be announced on the Ghost Story homepage and other media channels.
- In the event of any dispute, the OC's decision is final.
Name & Image Usage Rights
- Each participating member will allow VNG Games, Ghost Story: Love Destiny, the Tournament Organizer and their respective affiliates to broadcast or record their Ghost Story: Love Destiny gameplay at any Tournament. Each member will be deemed to have granted Ghost Story: Love Destiny and the Tournament Organizer a royalty-free, fully paid, worldwide right and license (with right to sublicense) to reproduce, display, distribute, modify, contain, store, use and display their name, Player Tag, photos, portraits, images, avatars, voices, videos, in-game characters, game statistics and biographical information, and to create derivative works of the above, across all future media forms in connection with:
- Broadcasting any scope of all or any part of the Tournament.
- Marketing and promoting Ghost Story: Love Destiny or any Tournament or part of a Tournament.
- Marketing and promoting Ghost Story: Love Destiny.
- Each player acknowledges and irrevocably agrees that all broadcasts and audiovisual recordings of any or any part of the Tournament are owned by Ghost Story: Love Destiny or Ghost Story: Love Destiny's licensors. Appearing in a broadcast or audiovisual recording of any Tournament will not give the player any equity interest in that broadcast or audiovisual recording.
Match Dispute Resolution
- Throughout the tournament, the OC will accept the following complaints: Complaint submissions sent directly to the Customer Support team via channels such as Mail, Fanpage and Support Page within 01 (one) day from the end of the disputed match. For exceptional cases: the OC will contact directly via email or phone number provided by the complainant to resolve within 03 (three) business days. The OC's decision is final.
- If objective incidents beyond the OC's intentions directly affect a match, such as: ISP connection issues, game service system failures, natural disasters, war, etc., the OC will announce on the game homepage within 02 (two) days and will organize a rematch at a different time.
- Exceptional case: After a match ends, if any of the competing players has a complaint or the OC discovers violations by the winner, the OC will decide to disqualify the violating player from the tournament. This decision does not change the original match results of the remaining players.
Legal Rules — Cash Prize Award Regulations:
- Players on the list of physical reward recipients must contact Ghost Story: Love Destiny's customer support to provide information within 7 days from the official announcement.
- Prizes will be awarded directly to each individual in the team.
- Cash Conversion Rate: 1 USD = 26,500 VND
- Customers may authorize another person to collect the prize. The authorized person must carry a photo ID (National ID/Passport) and a legal power of attorney between the authorizing party and the authorized person.
- Individuals participating in the tournament agree to provide complete personal information within the timeframe stipulated by the OC to facilitate the physical prize award process.
- Prizes will be awarded to winners within 90 working days from the end of the winner information collection period, except in cases of force majeure such as natural disasters or epidemics.
- The OC's decision is final.
- Customers agree to the event rules set forth by the OC and provide complete personal information to the OC for prize distribution.
- The OC will not resolve cases where information is provided incorrectly, incompletely, or past the deadline.
- The timeframe for customers to claim prizes is within 90 days from the prize notification date. If customers have not claimed their prize after this period, the prize will be forfeited.
- Customers are responsible for settling their own taxes in their country of residence.
In-Game Item Exchange Regulations:
- Individual prize winners may exchange physical rewards for in-game Jade of equivalent value during the information submission period.
- If an individual fails to provide complete information within the stipulated timeframe, the OC will DEFAULT to converting the physical prize into in-game Jade of equivalent value for the winning ID the customer registered with.
