[IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT]: FORMAT ADJUSTMENT FOR THE ROUND TOP 32 OF THE LOVE DESTINY TOURNAMENT 2024

Dear Ghost Mates,

First and foremost, the Organizing Team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teams that have participated and supported the Love Destiny Tournament 2024. Our tournament has officially entered the Qualifying Round - Competing for the TOP 16 Final, where intense matches are unfolding by the hour.

We deeply value and respect the community's feedback. After thorough consideration and assessment of past matches, to ensure:

• Increased balance and fairness in competition.
• The best experience for all competing teams.
• Better preparation for teams advancing to the Finals.

The Organizing Committee has decided to adjust the competition format to BO5 (Best of 5).

The specific order of matches in BO5 is as follows:

• Match 1: 2vs2
• Match 2: 2vs2
• Match 3: Male vs Male
• Match 4: Female vs Female
• Match 5: 2vs2

Notice for Competing Teams:

• Match Times: The specific times for each match involving the teams have been announced. If a team is absent for more than 3 minute at the scheduled match time, they will be immediately disqualified. If teams are online but fail to join the match at the scheduled time or do not respond to notifications/requests to compete, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to declare a forfeit for that team.
• Early Matches: During the competition, there may be instances where matches finish earlier than expected. The Organizing Committee will consult with and confirm from the teams whether they wish to start their match earlier than the scheduled time. If agreed upon, the match will commence earlier.
• Delayed Matches: If the Organizing Committee reschedules a match to a later time than originally planned, teams will be notified at least 10 minutes in advance to prepare. After 10 minutes of preparation, there is no response from the teams, they will be considered to have forfeited their right to compete in that match.
• Match Supervision: All matches in this round will be overseen by coordinators from Tournament Team_1 to Tournament Team_20, who will contact teams to organize and coordinate the matches. Please pay attention to and follow their instructions.
• Communication Channels: The Organizing Committee will only contact teams through two channels: Discord and in-game chat. If a team does not respond on either of these communication channels within 5 minutes of being contacted, they will be considered to have forfeited the match

Why this adjustment?

• Increase in strategic depth and challenge: The new format requires not only perfect coordination in 2vs2 matches but also provides opportunities for each team member to showcase their individual prowess in singles matches (Male vs Male, Female vs Female).
• Preparation for the Finals: Familiarity with diverse competition formats from now will help teams adapt better and minimize surprises in later critical rounds.
• Promoting fairness: Each match is designed to test every aspect of skills and team unity. This ensures a healthy and transparent competitive environment.
